Janey studied Film and Television Studies at the University of Amsterdam and built a versatile career across marketing, distribution, talent management and production. In 2008, she founded nummer19 management, representing leading talent such as Halina Reijn, Paula van der Oest, Carice van Houten and Marwan Kenzari.
In 2020, she joined Netflix as Director of Content Acquisitions, overseeing acquisitions, original films and co-productions for the Benelux and Nordics.
Today, she works as a talent manager, creative producer and consultant, supporting producers, film professionals, projects, and talent with her extensive industry expertise.
