Mr. Paper Goes Out For a Walk (d. Steven de Beul & Ben Tesseur)

NL | 8 min

It is a beautiful day. Mr. Paper goes out for a walk. From some old newspapers he cuts out what he needs. A hat against the sun, and a dog against loneliness. It will be a nice day!

Tourist Trap (d. Vera van Wolferen)

NL | 2 min

The little car Jeep seems to have found a unique vacation spot: an island paradise full of pristine nature and unusual tropical birds. But upon arrival, Jeep discovers that he is not the only adventurer. One ferry after another brings in campers and caravans that manage to thoroughly ruin the trip that began so idyllically.

Dodu – The Cardboard Boy (d. José Miguel Ribeiro)

Portugal | 5 min

Dodu, the cardboard boy, has exciting adventures with his friend the Ladybug. The sea, the moon, the boat in which they sail, everything is made of cardboard.

My Happy End (d. Milan Vitanov)

Germany | 5 min

What if a dog’s tail was more than a body part to wag? What if his tail was his best friend? Someone to share his bone with, play table tennis with and spend all the days of the week with. That would really be “all’s well that ends well! But what if your tail suddenly takes on a life of its own? And just like that, on its own, chases a cat….

Eating Ice Cream (d. Ton van Saane)

NL | 5 min

One ice cream is good, two ice creams is party. But how many ice creams is too many? In this extraordinary animated film, two children are given wheelbarrows full of ice cream. Delicious, but what do you do with so much?

A special animated film with colored cut-out figures on a black background, combined with chalk drawings.
