Take a seat in our Sketch Area where you can sit down to draw live models while you get tips and tricks from one of our tutors. This year’s sketch sessions will be guided by none other than character designer Wouter Tulp and artist Anouk Bax. So if you get stuck, don’t hesitate to ask their help!

Wouter started his career as a freelance illustrator, creating different kind of illustrations like children’s books, book covers, editorial illustrations and caricatures. This variety of work helped him shape and refine his technique and craft, that eventually led to him becoming a versatile character designer for feature animation. Which is currently his business.
Anouk Bax’ favorite medium is drawing. She seeks the magic of the image that emerges. According to Anouk, art is a way of understanding the world. Her work invites you to discover the complexity hidden behind apparent simplicity. Her art offers a profound exploration of human experience.
