In 2014 writers and directors Mikey Please and Dan Ojari formed Parabella Studio, where they produced shorts, idents and commercials. They developed long-form projects such as ‘Robin Robin’, ‘Alan The Infinite’ and ‘Deadlock’, a graphic novel. ‘Robin Robin’ took them to Aardman, where they made it into a Netflix original and in 2022 it was nominated for an Oscar.
During The Art Department Mikey and Dan will join us to talk about the making of a short film they recently developed named ‘An Elephant Never Forgets’. A film they made with Pat Mchale to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the CN series ‘Over The Garden Wall’.
