I AM HERE – CHEYENNE GOUDSWAARD
The fear of oblivion can be overwhelming, but it can also be a driving force. We want to imprint ourselves on the future, to build a legacy, to leave something behind – a name in the sand, a hand on the wall of a cave.
The characters in ‘I Am Here’ strive to connect and contribute to the world, ensuring that their presence is felt and remembered.
ROTTEN CHILD – TATEVIK MARTIROSYAN
Harold, a reticent, sixty-something-year-old man, still lives with his ageing mother; a reproachful woman who cares more about her vases then she does for her son. But when Harold hears his neighbors’ rebellious son through the wall, a desire to express himself awakens. Shortly after, his mother dies. How will this affect Harold now?
DEARLY DEPARTED – GABRIELLA LICHTNEKER
A queer comedy-horror about accidental death, interfering ghost hunters and how joy can be found despite the hand (after)life might have dealt you.
BLOCK TWO
THE DEER – BARAN SEDIGHIAN
Deep in the forest, hunters attack a group of deer and injure one of them. The deer slowly heals but when he wants to return to his old life realizes that there is no going back; he’s changed too much. The deer migrates to discover his new self.
THE DANCE WITH FEAR – DOORTJE SCHOONBROOD
We are being hunted and run as fast as we can. I wonder, what if we stopped running? This is the story of a magical encounter with our inner monster: fear.
In this project, Doortje Schoonbrood wanted to show the beauty of wonder. Using real plants, digital and traditional techniques, she shows that if we can learn to live alongside fear, a beautiful life in a wonderful world awaits.
MEMORIES IN BLOOM – YOANNA KOLEVA & EVELIJN NEEFJES
As a young woman cleans her deceased grandma’s house, she discovers objects which triggers a journey through her memories eventually helping her process her grief.

Lonely and depressed, the protagonist has resigned himself to the fact that nothing is his life can make him happy. Despite his multiple suicide attempts, death eludes him due to his unusually bouncy and elastic features. On his final attempt, new friendships emerge which opens up a new world of adventure.
