Howest is a dynamic University of Applies Sciences known for its innovative and interdisciplinary approach to education and research, and its close collaboration with industry, business, and the social profit sector. Howest has five campuses in Belgium: two in Bruges, three in Kortrijk and one in Oudenaarde.
Howest’s bachelor course Digital Arts and Entertainment(DAE) was established in September 2006. In a 3-year structure,students can choose for Game Graphics Production, Game Development, Independent Game Production, Interactive Sound Production, Visual Effects (VFX), and 3D Animation. DAE has been crowned best game design and development school in the world three times (2021-2018-2017) by The Rookies World School Rankings®, making DAE a top international player in game design and art education.
