GRETEL LUSKY

Gretel Lusky is an Argentinian illustrator currently living in the UK. She began her career in the animation industry back in 2015 as a character designer and visual development artist for 2D and 3D animated shorts, tv series and feature films. Four years later, she left animation to work on comics.

She co-created Primer, an original graphic novel published by DC Comics in 2020, and its sequel Primer: Clashing Colors, released in 2024. Since then, she has worked on a variety of projects for publishers including Marvel, Dark Horse, IDW, BOOM! Studios, Dynamite, and Simon & Schuster, as well as promotional campaigns with Netflix, Warner Bros and Paramount. Her first art book, Wayfinder: The Art of Gretel Lusky, was published by 3dtotal in 2024.

Between client work, she enjoys working on personal projects, filling as many sketchbooks as she can, and creating art that blends nature and fantasy with expressive characters and vibrant colors.
