Ana Ramírez González is a Mexican writer, director and artist from the vibrant city of Guanajuato, México. With over a decade of storytelling experience at Pixar Animation Studios as a visual development and story artist (COCO, Elemental, Toy Story 4, Elio, Win or Lose, Soul), she has also collaborated with studios including Google, DreamWorks and Nickelodeon.
Beyond animation, Ana has illustrated acclaimed children’s books for publishers including Disney, Scholastic, Chronicle Books, Chandlewick, and HarperCollins/Balzer+Bray.
Ana will talk about her recent years at Pixar and her process of directing an independent film: finding funding, struggles and wins.
