A paint over session is always a great fun way of discovering how far an industry professional could take one of your own designs by applying their skills, experience and magic touch. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to pick a couple of tips and tricks by watching them working right in front of your eyes!
Together with our principal sponsor Procreate, we are inviting character designer Nicholas Kole to conduct a paint over session during The Art Department Berlin. Nicholas is know for working on projects like Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot 4, The Wingfeather Saga, or the cards of Disney’s Lorcana, among others.
Do you want to experience a paint over for one of your designs? Until Sunday 19 May (23:59 CEST) you can submit your work on our Discord channel in the 2d-art-showcase thread using the “PROCREATE PAINTOVER” tag.
Out of all submissions, Nicholas will then select 4 works that will receive a paint over on May 26, 10:30, in the Procreate Lounge. If time allows, we might even manage to add one or two extra!
Keep in mind if your design get selected you also need to be physically present during the session (so a valid Sunday ticket is required).
