Successfully combining the worlds of comic books and concept art, Gerald Parel’s designs are spectacular not only in aesthetics but also in their capturing of movements and storytelling.
We are very excited to welcome this incredible artist on our The Art Department Berlin stage!
Originally from France, Gerald started his career as a comic book illustrator with the French comic 7 Secondes written by Jean David Morvan. Also hired as a concept artist for movies and cartoons, he started working for Marvel as cover artist for Iron Man, Captain America, S.H.I.E.LD, and many others.
Nowadays residing in Berlin, Gerald is currently working as a principal visual story development artist at Riot Games.
