Raised by wolves, orphan man-cub Mowgli (Neel Setyhi) quickly learns to live life among the animals that inhabit the jungle. When the villainous tiger Shere Khan threatens Mowgli’s life, black panther Bagheera offers to take Mowgli to a nearby man village. Along the way, Mowgli gets tangled up in a series of encounters with a sly snake, Kaa, the swimmingly ruthless monkey King Louie and the free-spirit bear Baloo, who quickly becomes his guide to the ‘bear necessities’ of life. Mowgli’s journey is full of self discovery but also perils.

This 2016 spectacular live action adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling classic, surprises viewers with one of the most immersive experiences into Mowgli’s jungle and his animal friends. The young emerging talented Neel Setyhi is joined by a stellar cast of actors including Idris Elba (Shere Khan), Ben Kingsley (Bagheera), Bill Murray (Baloo), Christopher Walken (King Louie) and Scarlett Johansson (Kaa).

Directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Mandalorian) the film won an Oscar and a BAFTA for Best Achievement in Visual Effects alongside 30 other awards at festivals worldwide.

Special guest and providing an intro to this screening is one of the film’s concept artists: Iain McCaig (Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers:Infinity War, Harry Potter ant the Goblet of Fire).
