Immature is an animated documentary that explores gender identity through the lens of body imagery. The film delves into the evolving perceptions of a transgender gay man, highlighting the fluidity and complexity of gender identity.
Cheng Tse (Eddy) Wu is a visual artist enrolled in the AKV St. Joost Master of Animation. Standing at the intersection of art and technology, he aspires to create work that not only catches the eye, but also touches the soul. He uses visual language to explore the boundaries between digital and physical realms, build dreams to express feelings, convert emotions into stories.
The film Immature will be featured in the Student Film Competition. The selection highlights amazing student films created by artists enrolled at Dutch universities, and, in the same time, works that challenge and innovate in terms of audio-visual storytelling.
