FONTYS ACADEMY OF THE ARTS

At Fontys Academy of the Arts – Art Communication and Design (ArtCoDe), we empower creative minds to explore a vast array of disciplines—from Motion Graphics and Interactive Textiles to Fine Art, Film, and Speculative Design. Our dynamic curriculum encourages experimentation and cross-pollination between media, allowing you to delve into topics such as Social Design, Human Behaviour, and Product Design in a supportive, studio-based environment.

In our program, you’ll develop a unique visual language and specialize in Experience Design—a practice that challenges and inspires audiences by sparking conversation about themes like climate, diversity, and sustainability. Over a minimum of four years of intensive study and hands-on projects, you’ll gain both practical and theoretical expertise, culminating in a Bachelor in Design.
