Join award-winning animator Aaron Blaise for a hands-on, 1-hour animation activity designed for kids and everyone who loves to know more about! Each participants will receive a blank flipbook and learn the fundamentals of animation—including squash & stretch, timing, and movement—while drawing their very own animated sequence. Through simple, fun exercises, you will bring your drawings to life, flipping the pages to see your creations move!

During his 21-year tenure at Walt Disney Animation, Aaron Blaise left an indelible mark on the hearts of audiences worldwide through some of our most beloved Disney characters. Throughout his tenure, he served as an animator and animation supervisor on iconic films such as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, and Mulan, cementing his legacy in the animation industry. He also directed Brother Bear, creating an expansive world brim-filled with all types of North American wildlife. The film went on to pick up an Oscar Nomination in the Best Animated Feature category.
