Of all the places that have been repurposed to hold cinema screenings, Natlab is definitely making the shortlist of one of the most original locations. This monumental building is known worldwide as the former Philips Physics Laboratory. Did you know it is also the place where the CD was invented, not to mention at some point it accommodated Einstein himself?
Since 2013 however, the place has been completely turned around into a beautiful cinema and theatre. Hosting arthouse films and blockbusters alike, original and innovative programs, as well as facilitating industry meetings, Natlab breathes “cinema”.
We couldn’t wish for a better place to host our festival on the art of filmmaking!
