BFI NETWORK collaborates with film organisations and leading cultural venues across the UK to provide short film and early feature development funding, industry-backed professional development and networking support to producers, writers and directors.
Joining us is Aaliah Simpson. Aaliah is one of two BFI NETWORK Talent Executives for London. She has Executive Produced over 25 short films and has supported and developed short filmmakers including Adjani Salmon and writers including Isher Sahota. Aaliah was also a Jury member for London Short Film Festival in 2023.
Before her focus switched to BFI NETWORK, she worked more broadly across Film London’s Talent Development and Production Department, where she coordinated the Production Finance Market’s New Talent strand and the Film London Labs series, as well as various other training and development events for the BFI. She graduated from the NFTS’s prestigious Script Development diploma in 2021.
