Multi-disciplinary artist Rosie Tonkin makes the wildest film dreams come true. She works her magic across art direction, painting and model making, ranging in scale from intricate miniatures to lifelike animal sculptures.
After spending over a decade in art fabrication and prop making, creating work for artists, luxury fashion houses, museums and theater, Rosie moved into animation.
She worked on the advert for The Great British Bake Off with Mikey Please and Dan Ojari. Since then, she has collaborated on international campaigns, series and films such as Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared, BAFTA-winning BBC Women’s Euros 2025, Gorillaz and the BBC 2026 FIFA World Cup Trailer.
In 2022, she art directed BAFTA winning, Oscar-nominated short film Wander to Wonder, directed by Nina Gantz, and was Ffern resident artist in 2025.
