Moth is an animation studio founded by three friends and mainly focusses on 2D animation, 3D animation and illustration.

Moth was founded in 2010 by directors Daniel Chester, Marie-Margaux Tsakiri-Scanatovits and David Posser to share their love of storytelling, drawing and filmmaking through animation. Moth is known for its perceptive and emotive storytelling with a strong emphasis on character and design as communication. They have worked with a diverse range of clients including Netflix, The New York Times, Google, Marie Curie and Spotify.

 

Moth has the power to twist complex situations into something playful and comprehensible. They have been recognized for this multiple times. The work of Moth has been celebrated at festivals worldwide, earning them multiple BAFTA nominations, an Annecy Cristal and D&AD pencil amongst other awards.
