Björn Hurri is an award winning concept artist and art director from Sweden now located in Riga. He has worked for all major publishers and with over 100+ titles (Horizon, Alien Isolation, God of War, Dishonored, League of Legends and more). His list of clients includes companies such as NCsoft, Catalyst Game Labs and SEGA. He is currently working in the entertainment industry as Lead Artist for Opus Artz.
Björn has been a professional artist in the entertainment industries for over 20 years and has also developed an indie game called The Other Brothers as an Art Director. He has contributed to many award winning titles that include Dead Space 2, Bioshock Infinte, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, Spec Ops: Front Line, Infamous 2, Shadowrun, and Total War.
Björn Hurri is a well respected concept artist, known for his speed and imaginations. Hard working and always striving or perfection, Björn’s diverse experience and talent spans across all genres including characters, props and environments.
He has been teaching artists since 2008 and he also taught a highly popular character design class at CG Master Academy. Björn has shared his knowledge in lectures and demos at 15+ workshops and events in multiple countries and to thousands of people.
