Monsters gezocht! KruisstraatOriginal brengt hun Creation Station mee naar de LocHal voor een middag vol fantasie, geknutsel en monsterpret.
Op zondag 13 september verandert de Bibliotheek LocHal tijdens Illustrada in een echte monsterwerkplaats! KruisstraatOriginal brengt dan namelijk het Creation Station mee voor een creatieve inloopworkshop. Kinderen kunnen hierbij 2,5u land op ieder moment aanschuiven en hun eigen monster creëren. Van schattige monstertjes tot de allergriezeligste griezels: alles mag, zolang het maar fantasierijk is!
MAAK JE EIGEN MONSTERMASKER
Hoe ziet jouw monster eruit? Geef het scherpe tanden, grote oren, drie ogen of juist een vrolijke glimlach. Met gekleurd papier en (ribbel)karton ontwerp je een uniek monstermasker. Inspiratie nodig? Blader door de monsterboeken die klaarstaan bij het Creation Station, zoals:
En maak je masker af met een touwtje en paradeer trots rond als jouw eigen monster!
CUTIE OF CREEPY
Geef jouw monster een eigen persoonlijkheid! Met stickers, stiften, zachte stoffen en pluizig haar breng je jouw creatie tot leven. Is het een knuffelmonster dat dol is op koekjes? Of een mysterieuze griezel die het liefst slijmsoep eet? Jij bepaalt of jouw monster een lieve Cutie of een spannende Creepy wordt.
MONSTERKLEURPLATEN
Ook de jongste bezoekers kunnen meedoen. Speciaal voor hen zijn er vrolijke KruisstraatOriginals-kleurplaten vol grappige en gekke monsters om in te kleuren.

Je hoeft je niet aan te melden voor deze gratis doorlopende workshop. Loop binnen, schuif aan en ontdek tijdens hoe leuk het is om je eigen monsterwereld te bedenken en te maken.
Monsters wanted! KruisstraatOriginal is bringing its Creation Station to the LocHal for an afternoon full of imagination, crafty fun and monster-themed fun.
On Sunday 13 September, during Illustrada, the LocHal library will be transformed into a real monster workshop! KruisstraatOriginal is bringing the Creation Station along for a creative drop-in workshop. Children can pop in at any time during the 2,5h session to make their own monster. From cute little monsters to the scariest creatures: anything goes, as long as it’s imaginative!
MAKE YOUR OWN MONSTER MASK
What does your monster look like? Give it sharp teeth, big ears, three eyes or perhaps a cheerful smile. Using colored paper and (corrugated) cardboard, you’ll design a unique monster mask. Need some inspiration? Then have a flick through the monster books available at the Creation Station, such as:
Then finish your mask with a piece of string and strut around proudly as your very own monster!
CUTIE OR CREEPY
Give your monster its own personality! Bring your creation to life with stickers, felt-tip pens, soft fabrics and fluffy hair. Is it a cuddly monster that loves biscuits? Or a mysterious creep who prefers to eat slime soup? You decide whether your monster will be a sweet Cutie or a thrilling Creepy.
