Op zaterdag 12 september verandert het Trappenlandschap in de LocHal in een levendig openluchtatelier tijdens Festival Illustrada 2026! Van 12.30 tot 16.30 uur zijn kinderen tot zo’n 12 jaar van harte welkom om mee te doen aan een vrolijke, creatieve tekenmiddag waarbij dromen en verhalen in de spotlight worden gezet.
Je hoeft je niet aan te melden, loop gewoon binnen en schuif aan wanneer het jou uitkomt.
JOUW VERHAAL IN DE SPOTLIGHT
Over de vloer rollen lange banen papier uit, klaar om gevuld te worden met fantasie en verhalen. Wij maken het eerste begin: hier en daar verschijnen stripfiguren, grappige scènes en lege praatwolkjes die wachten op jouw ideeën.
Samen maken we één groot, kleurrijk kunstwerk vol fantasie, humor en eigen verhalen. Je mag natuurlijk alleen komen maar hoe gezellig is het om je ouders, opa, oma of vrienden mee te nemen: iedereen is welkom om bij te dragen. Kom dus langs, teken mee en zet jouw verhaal in de spotlight.
MARGO VAN ZUMMEREN
De middag wordt ingevuld door illustrator Margo van Zummeren, die bekendstaat om haar speelse en verhalende tekenstijl. In haar werk staan fantasie, expressie en plezier centraal, precies wat deze middag tot leven brengt. Ze nodigt kinderen uit om vrij te creëren, mee te bouwen aan één groot kunstwerk en hun eigen ideeën zichtbaar te maken.

On Saturday, September 12th, the Trappenlandschap in the LocHal transforms into a vibrant open-air studio during Playgrounds Illustrada 2026! From 12:30 – 16:30, children up to/around the age of 12 are welcomed to join this creative afternoon, where dreams and stories take center stage.
No registration needed – just walk in and join whenever it suits you.
YOUR STORY IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Long rolls of paper will be spread across the floor, ready to be filled with your imagination and stories. With markers, crayons and colored pencils hand, you’re invited to bring your ideas and to life on paper.
Together you’ll create one large, colorful artwork. You’re welcome to join us alone, but how lovely to bring your parents, grandparents or friends along. Everyone is invited to contribute to this work of art.
MARGO VAN ZUMMEREN
The afternoon is led by illustrator Margo van Zummeren, known for her playful and story-driven illustrations. Her work is centered around imagination, expression and joy: the perfect mix for this activity.
