The Brabanter is een fictief magazine, geïnspireerd door de iconische cover van The New Yorker. Het magazine zelf bestaat niet, alleen de covers. Deze worden gemaakt door kunstenaars en illustratoren uit de regio, allen met een eigen perspectief op Noord-Brabant.
Tijdens deze expo zijn er verschillende covers te zien van de The Brabanter, inclusief een Illustrada 2026 special.
Het initiatief The Brabanter komt van Alessio Meroni. Hij is een Italiaanse expat die sinds 2017 in Eindhoven woont. Alessio werd geïnspireerd door The Milaneser, een zelfde soort project uit zijn geboorteplaats Milaan. Hij is begonnen met The Brabanter om iets terug te kunnen geven aan zijn huidige woonplaats, Noord-Brabant.

The Brabanter was initiated by Alessio Meroni (1986), an Italian expat who has been living in Eindhoven since 2017. Inspired by The Milaneser, a similar initiative from his hometown, he started The Brabanter as a way to give something back to the region he now calls home.
