On the selection: “From 28 strong applications, we were able to select eight very diverse makers. Experimental documentary makers alongside illustrators with an already thriving commercial practice. A group that complements each other in themes, perspectives and experience. All the makers who were selected stood out during the selection not only for their strong work and clear signature, but also for their clear goals and focus that they want to achieve with this track.” – the partners in Next
