Anna Mantzaris is a Swedish director and artist with an instantly recognizable style of tactile and fuzzy stop-motion animation. She blends humor and melancholy effortlessly, with intricately crafted scenes and delicate, nuanced performances from her characters.

Anna’s film for Global Women ‘A Career Limiting Move’ carried a difficult message with a light touch, winning awards and featuring in festivals worldwide. She has directed films for John Lewis, Greenpeace and Honest Tea and worked as an animator on Wes Anderson’s ‘Isle of Dogs’. Her personal short films ‘Enough’ and ‘Good Intentions’ have won over 50 international awards together including a European Animation Award, Vimeo Best of the Year, Walt Disney Award and Audience Award at Ottawa International Animation Festival.

Anna is part of the roster of production company PASSION animation. PASSION Animation is PASSION PICTURES’ animated features and series division with an established reputation as a renowned, ground-breaking studio producing distinctive content that both entertains and inspires.
