It has finally happened! This year we have created our very first special edition and available to purchase TAD Hoodie. And it comes with quite some stories!
It was exclusively designed for us by Loish, an artist requiring no introduction, who has been involved in The Art Department from its very first edition. Sporting the TAD Hoodies in this photoshoot are Playgrounds friends and artists Juliana Erazo, Niek Vergeer and Aswin Baaijens. The three met each other through Playgrounds. Juliana and Aswin were part of the Next trajectory last year and Niek is part of this year’s batch of Next talents.
And just because we love so much to make it all come together, we’ll add that the three of them are also involved in The Art Department this year. Juliana is hosting several panels at (our brand new) Stage 3: Representation in the creative field and Latin American Animation, a force on the rise.
Aswin is a new member on the video team filming for the after movie together with our main director Jochem de Vet. And both Niek and Juliana have land a helping hand in the 50×50 masterpiece created by Tosca van der Weerden, and exhibited outside of the Klokgebouw premises.
And the photographer of the photo-shoot? Why it’s the one and only Willeke Machiels, always responsible for capturing the juice of any TAD experience.
