Playgrounds In Motion will take place on 18 + 19 September in the Barbican Centre in London (UK).
- Tickets for the festival are sold in various batches. The sooner you buy, the cheaper it is! Keep in mind we have a limited amount of tickets available within a certain price range.
- Are you a student or teacher and are planning to come with a group? You can qualify for our special “educational tickets”. Please reach out to Shirley Hendrikse.
- Are you 25 or younger? You qualify for a Next Gen ticket. Read out the conditions here.
- We offer group and studio discounts for those who bring friends / colleagues along! Planning on buying 5+ tickets? Get in touch with us via ticketing@weareplaygrounds.nl to receive a discount code.
- Can’t make it anymore and want to sell your ticket? Head out to our Discord channel and post your announcement in the ticket-swap.
- Discord is also the place where our community hangs out. Here you can find travel buddies, festival pals, community get-togethers and even accommodation tips.
- Festival timetable gets published around two weeks ahead of the festival. There are loads of things happening simultaneously. Plan out your days, but also be flexible. Keep in mind that we do not guarantee the presence of guest artists on festival premises outside of the scheduled events confirmed in the timetable.
- Ahead of the festival you will receive instructions about installing and using our event app a.k.a the best way to keep an eye on the schedule, receive live notifications and reminders as well as make your own schedule. During the event you can also make use of the networking function in order to meet and connect with other visitors of the festival.
- The most important information we’ll also communicate in an email shortly ahead of the festival. Read it carefully!
- We open doors at 13:00 (Friday) and 12:30 (Saturday). In the past, the high interest in portfolio reviews have generated visitors to queue quite early. However, we strongly discourage this. During our festival there are various manners in which you can meet your heroes, so don’t come too early ahead of the opening times.
- Festivals can be overwhelming. Do you experience sensory issues? Take your precautions. Reach out to our team at the info desk if you require assistance.
- Do you have an issue and you can’t find a volunteer or crew member to contact on site or you simply prefer some anonymity? Ask your questions on Discord!
- Playgrounds is committed to providing a safe and inclusive experience for everyone involved in our events regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disabilities, neurodiversity, ethnicity, colour, nationality, age, religion, or other protected characteristics. We believe everyone has the right to enjoy our events without fear of harassment, discrimination, or condescension. Every person interacting with Playgrounds will receive our Code of Conduct. If you notice or experience something making you uncomfortable, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us either via Discord or at info@weareplaygrounds.nl.
We publish our time schedule usually two weeks before the event starts. We do this because our artist’s schedules are subject to change up until the very last moment. This is why we don’t confirm the day of their presentation any sooner. We’d hate it if you buy a day ticket for your favourite artist only to see they’ve been switched to a different day…
On Friday 18 September our ticketing desk opens at 1pm.
On Saturday 19 September we’re open from 12:30pm onwards.
The program on our main stage will start at 2PM on Friday and 1.30PM on Saturday.
Please note that our accreditation desk closes at 8:30pm on Friday and at 9:00pm on Saturday. New visitors will not be allowed into the evening program once the desk closes, so make sure to obtain your wristband before. Wristband holders will still be granted access.
We don’t refund tickets. We recommend to resell your ticket on our Discord. Please note the ticket is not connected to a name/person, we will not check the name at the entrance.
After you’ve completed your purchase, you’ll receive an e-mail with your tickets.
If you encounter issues with the confirmation email make sure to check-out Weeztix’s ticket support page over here.
