At the Art Department former Next talent Vera van Wolferen will show the first prototype of a long-cherished dream: building moving sculptures.
The Sunchaser Summit is handcrafted miniature camper out of balsa wood. Within it’s own world under a glass dome the Sunchaser Summit shows subtle movement. This is the first of a series of sculptures in which Vera is exploring the possibilities of Arduino controlled mechanics, lights and fans to bring her miniature worlds to live.
