Workshop stop-motion for children by Jasper Kuipers

Stop-motion is an animation technique in which thousands of pictures in sequence create a film. Breda based animator and director Jasper Kuipers was part of the team that made the Gouden Kalf winning film Knor. During this workshop he will tell you about his work as an animator and you get to work with him!

The animated film Knor, based on the book by Tosca Menten, is the first stop-motion to win a Gouden Kalf award at the Netherlands Film Festival. Animation studio Holy Motion worked on Knor for up to 3 years.

And during the workshop will tell all about his work as an animator and you get to work with him! You will be introduced to the stop-motion technique and Jasper will share his tips & tricks.

The workshop is meant for young people form the age of 12. Maximum of participants: 15. Dutch spoken.

This workshop is part of the BLEND Breda festival with different events during the month of November 2022 and is a collaboration with De Nieuwe Veste Breda.
