Next Talent Program is the Brabant based talent trajectory for filmmakers, animation directors, illustrators and AV-creators. In the Province of Noord-Brabant Next co-exists next to 6 other talenthubs focussed on music, contemporary art, design, theater and dance. Talents of all these disciplines will participate in the Winter School – a 3 day course on cultural entrepreneurship. Playgrounds and Next initiated and produced the Winter School.
The Winter School will take place from Februari 14th until February 16th at the Playgrounds HQ in Eindhoven. 25 talents of all disciplines will participate in workshops on different subject about the development of the business side of their creative practice.
In these three days they will dive into topics such as time management, online presence, how to build your network and estimate your value.
Practical skills like writing a solid short bio and pitching yourself will also be discussed.
And we focus on finding funding for artistic projects. What are funding opportunities per discipline? What is not done in funding applications and what are good tips in writing for funds?
The workshops during the Winter School will be given by Donald Roos, Anneke van Wolfswinkel, Marlies Leupen, Kathelijn Samuels, Teun van Irsel and De Heren van Werk.
In between the workshops network lunches are organized so talents can also get to know each other and their work.
