Editor Simon Buijs introduces us to the mesmerizing fellow illustrator Théo Guignard.
Simon: “The quality and detail of Théo’s visual work is quite amazing. I saw his work a few years ago in his illustrative book Labyrinth, that also just came out in an English version, and he has been busy ever since. Working as a designer on animations for Chromosphere’s JUNE, France 5, Lancome and more. His eye for design, detail and scale is what sets him apart from the rest. Currently he is working a new illustrative book about Titans and the previews look amazing.”
Théo Guignard is a Parisian illustrator with brilliant eyes for character and background illustration in animated films and stills. He is an alumni of Gobelins L’Ecole de L’Image and has previously worked at French animated film giant Xilam, but now works at French animation studio Je Suis Bien Content illustrating backgrounds for the films.
