Next talent Iris Frankhuizen is a Dutch animation director based in Amsterdam. In her work she seeks to create a unique visual language by combining analogue and digital techniques. Her animations are focused on colour, texture and original concepts. She captures the imagination with her tangible, dreamlike design and poetic approach of storytelling. Inspired by expressionist artists as H.N. Werkman, Gerhard Richter and David Hockney, she as well urges to address a certain emotion, mood or experience to the viewer.
Graduated in 2015 from the HKU, she has been working on filmmaking and production projects for clients and develops independent concept.
Dreamscape is directed by Iris Frankhuizen. The soundscape is created by STILL productions.
