The desk will open in 2024 for all your film-related questions. Together with BROET and KONKAV, Playgrounds is on standby for a 1-on-1 talk and we are happy to brainstorm with you and answer your questions. This time we’ll be joined by Joni Cousins, project manager at Filmhub Zuid, the education hub of Noord-Brabant.

What can you think about when it comes to film education as a filmmaker? Some films are very suitable for education goals, for example because they tie in with big educational themes or social issues. In that case a filmmaker can look at education as an extra target group, for which the maker might also be able to develop additional teaching materials or programs. As a filmmaker, you can also use your expertise to introduce children and young people to the profession by giving workshops or longer series of lessons.
