Vincent Konings is a Dutch film director, producer, and production manager with a passion for historical stories, thrillers, and character-driven drama. After graduating from the Maastricht Academy of Art (Film) in 2015, he founded Kingswood Films, through which he develops and produces various live action projects.
His work is characterised by a strong visual style, atmospheric world-building, and themes such as faith, identity, guilt, and redemption. This is evident in, among others, the historical drama film Tot Inkeer (The Road of Repentance), the historical thriller A Murder of Crows, and the drama Zwart met Suiker. Additionally, he produced the short film Blin Fiducie, winner of the Cinekid Festival 2025, a moving coming-of-age story about ambition, family ties, and self-acceptance.
In addition to his own film work, Vincent is active as a production manager within the Dutch and Belgian film industry, including for production house 100% Film, where he worked on feature films such as Floating and Toutes Directions. He previously worked on productions such as The Silent Treatment, Flikken Maastricht, Meisje van Plezier and Flikken Rotterdam.
Thanks to this combination of creative and production experience, he is able to realise ambitious fiction projects from start to finish.
