In 2024 we set up the Filmhelpdesk in order to address all your film-related questions. Together with BROET and KONKAV, Playgrounds is on standby for a 1-on-1 talk and we are happy to brainstorm with you or provide advice.

This time we’ll be offering 1-on-1 advice sessions at Beholders, International Documentary Film Festival Meierijstad in Veghel. And we’re joined by Julian Klop (1995), a producer focused on socially driven documentaries at his production company, Dochuis. Julian’s projects, like “Niet Mijn Schuld,” have been featured by national broadcasters such as NPO. He also teaches guest lectures on pitching and financing, sharing his industry insights with emerging creators.

Beholders is a seven-day documentary film festival held at various locations throughout Meierijstad. The festival aims to bring people together, fostering discussions by inviting documentary filmmakers, guest speakers, and local participants for interviews and Q&A sessions. To make things even sweeter, attendees of the Filmhelpdesk will receive a free ticket to one of the festival’s films scheduled for October 11th!

Joining is free of charge. A talk will last about 30 minutes.
