Max and his sister Tosca research and dissect persistent myths about men from the past and present. In their exhibition/installation ‘Mythbusters and Pigeonholes’ (Mythbusters en Hokjesbrekers) ten myths about men are easily debunked and six men from the time when men were still real men give tips on masculinity.

That there is an unchangeable form of masculinity is one of the biggest myths in our society. Many men hold on to this, even if this pigeonhole does not fit them. Men have not had an emancipation movement, while it is sorely needed, because in reality masculinity is constantly changing.
