Julian Frost is the Melbourne – based animator behind the Skype emoticons.

Frost has worked as a claymation set maker, web and games designer and even a digital advertising creative before he became famous. His ‘The Dumb Ways To Die’ animation is a witty and irreverent take on public safety, which has received over 58 million views on YouTube since its release in November last year. It also swept the board at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, picking up a record five Grand Prix awards, plus numerous other gongs. Julian’s work is a mixture of commercial and personal projects that aspire to be ‘slightly odd’ and ‘mildy amusing’ that we are looking forward seeing for ourselves.
