Double Negative is a visual effects/computer animation company located in Fitzrovia, London. the company was set up in 1998 and has since grown to over 1,000 staff, making it Europe's largest provider of visual effects for film. The studio has received numerous awards for films such as Inception, Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and Interstellar.

Mark Ardington will speak about Ex Machina, the sciencefiction thriller for which Double Negative created the character Ava. Ardington holds over 15 years’ experience as Animation Director, Animator & Character Riggerand VFX supervisor, on many award-winning CGI commercials, TV series and films. Clients include BBC, Walt Disney Pictures, Paramount, Discovery Channel, FIFA, Cartoon Network, and of course Double Negative.
