Synopsis:
Novocaine for the Soul is a poignant short film about loss, longing, and the dark limits of escapism. When a mother is overwhelmed by grief over the death of her son, she turns to a forbidden substance that promises to bring relief. But what begins as an escape from her pain quickly becomes a hallucinatory confrontation with the truth.
