Nikita Diakur, an artist based in Germany, is known for portraying everyday activities using unconventional computer simulation methods that inherently bring randomness, spontaneity and chaos into his work.
Diakur holds a MA Animation at the Royal College of Art, London. The self-proclaimed Ugly filmmaker has participated in numerous international exhibitions and festivals,
winning awards for his films Ugly, Fest, and backflip.
In addition, Diakur shares his expertise through lectures and workshops. He has been part of the Artists-in-Residence program at Q21 in Vienna and is a member of the European Film Academy.
