WHAT TO EXPECT
This masterclass focuses on the different creative muscles required to direct across established shows, adaptations, and original projects. Adam Paloian will draw from his own experience on bring new life to long-running series like SpongeBob SquarePants, adapting the Cuphead video game into the Cuphead Show, and developing independent original projects.
During this in-depth session, Adam will cover artistic decision-making, production pipelines, what directors look for in collaborators, how roles function within a crew, and how the work ultimately serves both the network and the audience. How do you guide a project from script to final picture?
WHO IS ADAM PALOIAN?
Adam is an Emmy and Annie award winning director who is best known for his work as a supervising directing on SpongeBob Squarepants, The Cuphead Show!, and his production company, Pinreel Inc. Adam is the CEO and creative director of Pinreel, famous for the viral hit music video Video Games by Tenacious D, and the TV special for Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants entitled Go Fetch!
