Screening with intro by Animation Director, Anna Mantzaris
Released in 2018, director Wes Anderson’s second animated feature, Isle of Dogs, transports audiences into the bleakly beautiful fictional city of Megasaki. The film lingers in your mind thanks to the intricate world-building, soulful characters and compelling story.
We’re thrilled to be joined by Swedish animation director Anna Mantzaris, who worked as an animator on Isle of Dogs, before the screening. Anna will introduce the stop-motion film, providing insights into its production. We can’t wait to hear what she has to share with us.
