The Prince Bernhard Culture Fund invests over 35 million euros annually in culture and nature. This funding goes towards around 3,500 projects throughout the Netherlands and the Caribbean Netherlands. We do this with contributions from the VriendenLoterij and Nederlandse Loterij, along with our donors, benefactors, and partners. The Prince Bernhard Culture Fund North Brabant is one of the twelve provincial branches.
We’re especially excited to be able to answer any and all questions about our New Makers Scheme. With this new initiative, we aim to support (new) makers by reducing the barriers of entry to starting a project. With this, we hope to encourage new talent and build up their confidence.
The scheme is open to submission from April 1st to May 15th, and we’re encouraging makers from all artistic disciplines to apply with their projects in at any stage of development. Your application might be for the development of an idea, production of a new work, or even a public presentation. Find out more information here.
We’ll be on site to provide general information about the Cultuurfonds, answer specific questions about the New Makers Scheme, and to meet and make new connections with makers from all disciplines.
