AVANS UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES

THE ART DEPARTMENT EINDHOVEN 2026

This one-year Master of Animation is directed towards realizing your creative potential. In this master, students learn to critically and creatively integrate innovatory studio work with theoretical principles. They explore storytelling in animation and compare this with their own artistic vision and style.

At this booth you can watch Eddy Wu’s (class of 2025) short film Immature. The documentary explores gender identity through the lens of body image from a gay transgender man. the film reflects the vulnerability, resilience, and strength involved in embracing one’s true self. It offers a fresh perspective on how gender identity and body image are intertwined, inviting viewers to rethink the relationship between body, identity and self-perception.
