We’re very excited to welcome Anne-Laure To (Art Supervisor/Art Director Arcane Season 1 & 2) to the Art Department Berlin. Anne-Laure has over 20 years of experience crafting visual worlds for feature films, animated movies, series and advertising. As a graduate of Les Gobelins and Estienne (Paris), she specializes in visual development, matte painting, backgrounds and color scripts.
For the past decade, Anne-Laure To has been part of the ride at Fortiche Production, helping shape the visual world of Arcane. From matte painter to lead artist, then artistic supervisor and art director on Season 1—and a key player in Season 2.
In her talk, she’ll dive into art direction and supervision on Arcane, sharing insights on color scripts, matte painting, and what it takes to bring this stunning universe to life.
