Andy and Adeena began their careers freelancing at Blinkink well over 10 years ago but only got into directing when they started making little lockdown films during covid. What started as a bit of fun during those “stay at home” days has become something so much bigger.
Together, they will walk you through their humble beginnings of shooting films in spare rooms and on budget shoestrings, to crafting high end premium work (which actually have budgets!)
Andy and Adeena are a London-based, stop-motion directing duo represented by Blinkink, who are known for their charming, handcrafted films and their work with major studios and directors. Andy Biddle is a lead animator who has worked with the likes of Wes Anderson, Tim Burton, Laika and Aardman, while Adeena Grubb is a multi-award-winning puppet maker and animation director. Together, they have directed commercial campaigns for British Airways & American Express, Advil and FanDuel, to name but a few
