The answers to those questions are fairly simple – though they still require the typical artist adage of practice, practice, practice. This workshop aims to answer the question of what exactly anatomy is in the context of art, particularly illustration and concept art, and how to study it efficiently.
🛠️ What to bring:
- Sketchbook or any painting material
- your own device e.g. iPad with Procreate + Apple Pencil
This workshop features breakdowns of anatomy that can be understood within the brief time of the workshop and will teach the fundamentals of anatomical concepts and what to look for.
The following topics and concepts will be covered in this workshop:
- Anatomical Breakdowns of every major muscle group into simplified forms;
- Form and functions of major muscle groups and bones;
- How to apply the knowledge to illustration and concept art;
- How to incorporate the knowledge into self-study approaches.
