Next talent Niels Hoebers will be interviewed by Meike van Zandvoort of Pop Up Cinema in their talkshow Talent Talks.
The Talent Talks will take place at EFF – Eindhoven Film Festival on Friday 29th of November at 16.15 (Natlab – zaal 3).
In this talkshow filmmakers are interviewed to give an insight into their filmmaking process. Find out what inspires them! In an in-depth interview with lots of visuals we dive into the personal world of the filmmakers. Niels will tell more about Slow Stories, the concept he developed with his Next trajectory.
Also present are Ali Eslami, a Virtual Reality Artist and Practitioner from Iran who has been active and experimenting with VR since 2014. Ali’s work carves new pathways into this emerging medium by developing interactive experiences, driving his practice-led research. And Thessa Meijer, a Dutch writer and director based in Amsterdam, her work is characterized by dreamy magical realism with a humorous undertone. Her short film ‘The Walking Fish’ was honored with the 2019 Young Director Award (YDA)’s Special Jury Price and a Gold. And it is the Dutch submission to the 2020 Academy Awards for Live Action Short Film.
