NEW MISSION: DUTCH GAME WEEK 2025

proud to introduce our new name: Dutch Game Week!

Between 27 November and 4 December, the city of Breda will once again immerse itself in the world of game art & development, game publishing, esports, and applied gaming. This year, we’re levelling up with new partners, a broader program, and a bigger impact across the industry.

That’s why we’re proud to introduce our new name: Dutch Game Week!

In collaboration with the Dutch Games Association (DGA), we’re bringing the Dutch Game Awards to Breda to spotlight the innovation and talent in the Dutch gaming landscape.

✨ Even more good news: tickets for our Dutch Game WeekConference (3–4 December at Chassé Theater Breda) are live now! Grab yours at the best price and dive into the ever evolving world of games.

Take a Look at last year's event!

Of course, game art enthusiasts will once again get a chance to immerse in the artistic process of various artists, game developers and studios during our 2 day Dutch Game Week Conference. In the past we have welcomed artists such as Rex Crowle, ustwo, Epic Games, Twirlbound, CD Projekt RED, Floris Kaayk and many more.

Tickets for the 2-day conference are going live. Don’t miss the chance to get your tickets here for the best possible price!

Apart from the conference you can expect talks, industry meet-ups, workshops, showcases and tournaments. In addition on 3rd of December for the first time the Dutch Game Awards will be awarded during Game Week in Chassé Theater Breda.

“We are very excited about the collaboration with Game Week and the municipality of Breda to give the Dutch Game Awards a new home in the coming years. The beautiful Chassé Theater is the perfect place to host a great award show and provides a great stage to present the best games from Dutch soil.” Martine Spaans, General Manager DGA

On the same matter, we picked the brains of Suzanne Rietdijk, Playgrounds Director: “Games have a huge impact on our society: from entertainment to education all the way to urban planning. Playgrounds is committed to giving all these facets of games a place with the Dutch Game Week, and to build this event as a place for innovation and renewal of games. This collaboration with the Dutch Game Association is therefore a logical step for Playgrounds in further expanding Game Week in Breda in the coming years.”

Good things coming along for game creators and enthusiasts!
Mark your calendars and save the dates!

Game Week is made possible by Gemeente Breda, Provincie Noord-Brabant & Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie.
