WHAT TO EXPECT
Together with Alex, you’ll explore a process that allows you to practice and finish personal work in short pockets of time. You’ll do this by creating a playful 2D animation that taps into your intuitive sense of motion. A process that’s useful from beginner to professional. 

Please bring:

• A device for animating with your preferred animation software installed;
• A knowledge of your preferred 2D animation.

ABOUT ALEX GRIGG
Alex fell in love with filmmaking during his time at animation school in Brisbane. After graduating he worked with studios such as Nexus, BUCK, Blink Ink, Passion Pictures and Mighty Nice. He made his first personal film in 2014 and since then he’s been working primarily as an animation director, creating work for clients such as Cartoon Network, Apple, Samsung and Procreate.

Alex’s work is filled with craft, wit and charm. He loves drawing, exploring weird ideas and ruminating on hard to explain feelings. These all bubble up in strange and unexpected ways as he tries to capture them within his personal work.
