In 2024 we set up the Filmhelpdesk in order to address all your film-related questions. Together with BROET and KONKAV, Playgrounds is on standby for a 1-on-1 talk and we are happy to brainstorm with you or provide advice. This edition features Joost van den Bosch, co-founder of Ka-Ching Cartoons, a 2D animation studio in Rotterdam that he runs alongside Erik Verkerk.

The duo has been collaborating since their art academy days, followed by a year at Cartoon Saloon in Ireland, before founding Ka-Ching Cartoons in 2007. Their studio has produced numerous TV series and streaming content for major clients like Nintendo and IQIYI. Expanding into feature-length projects, Ka-Ching is now directing and producing two hand-drawn films set to premiere in 2024.
